Top 5 Independent Buisnesses On Instagram

Happy February! So, I wanted to start out by giving a little shoutout to some other small/ independent businesses that I have been really liking recently. Shop small always, not just for Christmas.

1. Emma Warren Design

First up, is Emma Warren Design. This lovely lady is based in gloustershire, and designs, embroiders and sews the most amazing clothing and accessories. She has recently had a new workspace built from scratch, complete with hot chocolate station, and it is safe to say that I have MAJOR STUDIO ENVY. Emma sells on Asos Marketplace as well as on her website. Here are some of my favourite items from her shop:

Embroidered Bee Backpack - £26.00

Heart Sweater - £26.00 (Part of the valentine's edit)

Embroidered Glitter Dolphin Sweater - £32.00

2. ELB Handmade

Next up it's ELB Handmade. Now I have been following this shop on instagram for as long as I can remember, and I do own a few pieces made by Emma, including a bodysuit, underwear set and a bikini. The quality of her products are amazing, and I highly recommend you now buy all of your underwear from here. She caters to all sizes and can do custom sets/ sizes at your request. It's good to remember that you get what you pay for with independent makers (not that handmade has to mean expensive). These sets are made with love, and made to LAST.

Love Bug Lace Set - £20.00

Midnight Kiss Bodysuit - £20.00 (Available in multiple colours)

Wonderland Lounge Set - £30.00

5. Desert Fox Collective

Desert Fox are a vintage and own label clothing brand based in France. Their aim is to sell 'ethical clothing with magical vibes', and they certainly achieve that. Their instagram is any boho babe's dream with floral and celestial prints everywhere you look. All vintage is handpicked from vintage markets in the local area, so you can be assured you get the best quality and the most unique items out there. Alongside the wide selection of Vintage that is available, Desert fox make their own clothing, using gorgeous vintage fabrics to produce dungarees, skirts and shorts. They also create handpainted jeans. This is ethical fashion done right! The brand take this one step further by making their labels from scrap fabric and using compostable postal bags. As if it couldn't get any better, they also have a reward scheme on their website for return customers. What's not to love!
